Jason’s Tomb
Rehavia was established in the early twenties of the 20th century by the Palestine Land Development Company (a Jewish organization for developing Israel) on land that was owned by the Greek Orthodox Church and later bought by The Jewish Foundation of Israel ( “Keren Kayemet Le’Israel”). For designing the neighborhood, the company hired a famous German Jewish architect named Richard Kaufman , who planned it according to the garden architectural fashion of that time.
...Rehavia retained its special old magic, but has turned into a modern lively part of Jerusalem with a versatile population – relious and secular, students and families, vetran Israelis and “olim” (immigrants). It is one of Jerusalem’s most beautiful and expensive neighborhoods. Its attraction to all these groups are its special atmosphere, its historical beauty and the fact that it is a lively place that includes restaurants, pubs, theaters etc.
As for real-estate, Rehavia is one of Jerusalem’s expensive neighborhoods, renting Jerusalem apartments of 3 room in a central street can be expensive – no less than a flat in Tel Aviv....

German Colony - in depth
Jerusalem German Colony was established in 1873, And built on an extensive plot of land south - west of the Old City of Jerusalem, And was called 'ghost'. The German Colony of Jerusalem, is one of about ten colonies were established in Israel in the 19th century. By Protestant Christian separatist movement called the Temple Company, whose members were known as 'Templar's'. Colony was built replica of a village in Württemberg in southern Germany, from where came the Templars, Including the German building style, and the whole village rested on one central street. After the War of Independence in 1948, the colony became a Jewish neighborhood. Today the German Colony is one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Jerusalem, including a popularrecreation area.....

Street in Gilo and a view on jerusalem apartments
Gilo is a region adjoining the south eastern Jerusalem and is one of the five ring neighborhood areas of the Jerusalem. Location - Gilo is located on the top of a hill in the south western Jerusalem and is separated from the Beit Jala by a deep canyon. The highway tunnels to the Gush Etzion runs beneath Gilo on the eastern side. The settlement of the Har Gilo is clearly visible on the adjoining peak. Sharafat and Beit Safafa are located on the northern side of Gilo, whereas Bethlehem is located on the southern side.
